Happy Tuesday! I actually despise winter but since there’s no escaping it here in NYC I try to embrace it with great coats and fab faux fur pieces. I’m a big fan of Russian style hats like this one and was excited to find one in a soft, neutral color! This is always how I imagine myself wanting to walk around in the cold (especially the snow!), but sometimes practicality sets in and on go the puffers, dark colors, and shoes that you don’t mind ruining a bit… This is also great inspiration on how to take your summer/fall dresses into the winter season. I just love the way this coat cups the dress and lets the chiffon peek out of the bottom!

I despise winter too (I’ve lived in the Midwest my entire life), but it makes you appreciate a gorgeous coat a lot more! I love the one you’re wearing here. I can’t believe it’s H&M! I’ll definitely be making a trip there soon!
