There is something about New Orleans that begs for a great hat, some lace, and flirty feminine silhouettes… especially in this area of town. I can walk around this neighborhood for days and never get sick of the beautiful houses and well kept flower beds and gardens. I’m down here visiting the really, really special person that I met when I came down last and he took these pictures (thus the googly smiles). I may never leave.
I also fell in love with this hat while trying to track down another hat that I didn’t buy last time at the same place… no luck on that (Do I really need another furry russian hat? YES.) Fortunately, I found this one and it just has the most perfect attitude: a pop of the most perfect shade of red and a brim that’s not too floppy. I’m on the hunt for more!

You look beautiful and stylish! Theat cat is super cute
Elegante e affascinante come un gatto nero!
The first thing I noticed about this post was that you’re ALL smiles! You look great and it’s so nice to see you so happy!
Ahhh, these pictures make so much more sense now that I know the story behind them! When I was first scrolling through, I was thinking, “There’s something different about these pictures–I like it! I wonder who’s taking them?” Then I read your blurb and it clicked–these pictures were taken by a guy who is obviously quite smitten
Beautiful outfit made more beautiful with your smile! Love it!
I love the outfit and the hat, but the best part is that smile on your face
Love it! And I lived in New Orleans for some years so it’s nice to see you roaming the streets in a city that I used to call home. These posts make me want to take a trip down there this year.
Everything about this outfit is perfect!

Lovely outfit, and the pop of red is so eye catching. The photo back drop is absolutely perfect!
I love the blouse! I just purchased it in a beautiful coral color. It is very sheer, wondering what color cami would look best underneath?
