I particularly love the sporty trend because in my not-so-distant past life I was an athlete and total tomboy. I still am but it’s harder to see under the feminine style that I’ve grown into as I’ve gotten older. This is my gym and I’d love to say I go to regularly but I much prefer exercising in the Park this time of year. It did lend itself quite well to this shoot so I was happy to use it in some way.
This outfit is a favorite of mine because it really is so affordable and the pieces can be mixed and matched to look less sporty if you don’t want to commit so hard to the trend. And I just love the sleek, minimalist edge that these shoes have! As subtle as the clean lines are here, they really make a statement with the strong metallic color.

I love this simple outfit. It looks so comfortable and versatile to a point that if you styled it with sandals, flats or tennies for the shoes, it would look just as good!

This reminds me so much of a recent Teen Vogue article I read that shows the whole sporty chic look! Besides the fact no one wears heels to the gym…at least I don’t haha! It has always been a style that goes in and out of fashion but I truly like it. It’s easy to find affordable cute clothing to wear when working out though which is fab.
