Support Sandy with SG & Hudson
December 10, 2012

Jeans: Hudson, Sweater: Club Monaco (similar), Coat: Elie Tahari c/o last year (similar, similar from Target)
Happy Monday! Let’s start this gloomy week off on a charitable note, shall we? Hudson asked me to represent the great state of New Jersey (hometown holla!) in their Blogger Boutique to benefit Hurricane Sandy. I styled their LEELO Bordeaux cropped skinny and this featured style is exclusively 20% off and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy Relief. It really is the fit that keeps on giving and I’m particularly fond of Hudson denim because their cropped styles hit my ankle at the perfect spot. That eliminates the need to go to a tailor and try to explain why you weren’t part of the 2% born with giraffe legs.
I tried to really play up the berry tones in the jeans rather than stick it with black, black and more black. It’s also quite festive this way! Hope you can support and share the cause! xo *Runs from today through Dec 24th!

Beautiful, Lindsey! What a great way to mix different shades of red! In love with this look!
Any advice on the fit of these jeans?
Those pants are a rare lapse for you :-0
I love the semi-monochrome effect of the mix of red and burgundy! Burgundy is by far my favorite color for fall/winter, and the sweater and pants are so cool!

Love 99% of your selects, but don’t quite love this red / berry combo. The jeans have a “sweat pant” visual to them. Coat & shoes = A+ / sweater = A+
Great outfit. Love the oxblood color. What an amazing fundraiser for Hurricane Sandy.

It takes a certain something to pull off a monochromatic look, especially in burgundy, and I’m in awe how effortless you look! You’re right, it is definitely festive, and I love that you took a risk instead of sticking with basic black. And for a good cause, what could be better!

Oh, I love the reds in this outfit. It doesn’t look crowded or anything, they look perfect all together!
