Bag: Banana Republic, Top: H&M, Pants: Theory via TJ Maxx, Coat: Juicy Couture, Sunglasses: c/o 7 For All Mankind

This coat is from Resort but I knew that it would make an excellent addition to my spring transitional wardrobe.  I’ve been picking up things here and there for spring like these Theory checkered pants that fit like a glove and some silky blouses in bright colors and different prints.  Spring might be my favorite season because of all of the combinations and textures you can play around with in dreamy color palettes.  It’s bizarre because it feels like spring and has been unseasonably warm, but you can tell that it’s still winter because the light is so dull.  Can’t wait for summertime sunset lighting!

Side note: I started using that new Pantene Aqua Light Shampoo that doesn’t have silicone and is supposed to make your hair feel lighter.. And I was like pshh yea right, you probably need all that filler to make it look nice.  Boy was I surprised at how light and healthy my hair was after using it!  Highly recommend for a drugstore buy.. The last pic reminded me of that because I can tell that my hair isn’t weighed down.

* I will also show you how to tie the scarf from a few posts ago!  Thanks for all of the comments xo

The birds on the blouse are cool and the structure of the pants is great.

I really love your coat, I’m such an addict to stripes ;-)
I also used the pantene aqua light shampoo some time ago, and really liked it. But I have to admit, I found a biological one that makes my hair look even better. And of course it’s also without silicone – I really don’t understand why shampoos with silicone are still sold.

After seeing the black and white checked pants I had to share a story… When I was pregnant in the late 90’s when style for pregnant lady’s was still dormant I had a pair of checked black and white pants. Being six feet tall my preggers look was even more limited so I wore those pants ALL the time! I couldn’t wait to have my kid so I could stop wearing those damn pants! I literally burned them a few days after my baby was born! lol!
So, while you wear them very well I will leave this look up to you and other fabulous women!
I love your style!
Cheers!
