Shoes: Steve Madden, Tights: Gap, Dress: TJ Maxx (Photos: Linda Calla)

Remember I gave you a sneak peek of a project I’ve been working on?  Well, I’ve partnered with Steve Madden for the Steve Brings it Holiday campaign and was given a Met Gala party theme to go style-crazy with!  You can see from my inspiration collage above that I was very much inspired by the classical wing of the Met and its architecture, and picked a few starlets who have also embraced a very draped, ethereal red carpet Met look.  It’s also quite fitting that this shoe is called the Viktoree, which has Greek mythology roots in the goddess Nike (of strength and victory) so the whole classical inspired angle was obv very thought out here.  You can only imagine my excitement when I realized that I had the Met theme. *pushes nerd glasses up*

I have 2 more posts with different shoes and outfits coming up in the next few weeks and I’ll also be giving my tips on how to achieve a “Met” inspired party with everything from music to decorating tips!

In the meantime, you can enjoy 15% off Steve Madden with free shipping (except clearance) with the code SaucyGlossie15*Code is not stackable with other codes and expires 12/31/11 at 11:59EST

You can see the full campaign here

Aww, love this look and your inspiration collage! (And, of course, the shoes – Steve is a genius, not to mention my absolute favorite ever.) I’ve honestly never been to the Met, I’ve always wanted to visit. It’s on my list!

I have been eyeing those shoes! They remind me so much of the YSL which I can’t afford lol. Are they comfy? I am afraid of the super high heels!
