Can’t seem to stay away from animal print!  This is the direction that I’m really trying to take my closet: polished, affordable chic, and classic.   A lot of the things I’m wearing were picked up way on sale but will still last in my closet, which challenges the thought that investment pieces actually have to be big investments.

Hope you all had a great Halloween!

I love the jackt – what a find. It has a little bit of a tuxedo feel, but the grey tweed look gives it a perfectly daytime feel.

I completely agree with you – I have purchased some pieces on clearance for very little and they’ve been on constant rotation in my closet for years! Nothing like getting a great deal on a super-versatile item of clothing :)

“Polished, affordable chic, and classic” are certainly words to live by. Love this inspiring look.

I don’t mind if you wear animal print pieces every day, since you always seem to pick the most amazing ones! :)

The way you’ve worn the print makes it seem like such a neutral…the way it’s intended to look in the Fall! Most 9-5 gals stay away from spots and stripes fearing it seemed too outrageous for a day at the office…prime example of when it works! Props honey!

Peace. Love. LOL!

Can’t remember the last time I bought anything at full price (and I’ve been shopping a long, long time!).

Tucker November 1, 2011 at 4:00 pm

I think this totally works, I love the gold cuff with the outfit. I am not a big fan of cheetah usually, but you managed to keep the print classy looking, with the help of the rest of the outfit! I absolutely love it!

Animal prints have been leaping into my closet too. I had to talk myself down from some gloves last night just for the sake of my wallet. Love the outfit!

Reilly November 2, 2011 at 9:49 am

You always look great! Definitely inspiring. I finally bought leopard flats –which seems risky for me — but can’t wait to work up the nerve to wear them to work LOL you inspire me…because you show that the animal prints can be a neutral and not so WOW! if done correctly :) Wish me luck! (growl!)

I love this outfit!
And i know that you are all about the clothes, but could you tell me how you did your hair.
I know its a weird question but I have long brown hair just like you and I am always trying to get it to be sexy and naturally wavy like yours in these pictures.
I would appreciate anything. :)
Thanks
