in Outfits, Saucy Glossie

Sweater: Banana Republic, Top: Old Navy, Skirt: J Crew, Clutch: Calvin Klein, Shoes: c/o Sophie Theallet for Nine West

When I see these shoes I think of the scene in An Education (one of my fave movies) where Carey Mulligan holds her shoes by her fingers while tip-toeing along the banks of the Seine.  Insert me there, please.  Preferably with a box of macaroons and some sunshine.  Maybe it’s just this grey weather that has me feeling washed out, but these shoes definitely brought a warm and coquettish feeling to my day!

Hope to see some of you this Thursday at the Banana Republic Rock Center store from 5-7pm!!

When you put c/o before a product, what does that mean? I’ve always wondered that! Those shoes and the skirt are amazing!! :)

Oooo… that skirt is perfect! I wouldn’t have had the creativity to pair it with those shoes, but I love the effect!

I just found your blog and love it! You clearly have a keen eye for style. This outfit is fabulous. I love how you combine casual with glamour and then add a pop of pattern.

That’s such a pretty outfit! The skirt and the shoes are especially adorable. Oh, gosh, An Education is one of my favourite movies, and with the past week of rain, being in Paris like Jenny(/Carey) has been one of my major daydreams.
