A few days ago, we took a ride out to the lake to play with Guinness and take some pics along the water to try to beat the dreary weather. A few drops of color always brightens things right up for me. I’m debating which direction I’ll go for spring, brights like this or soft pastels and neutrals. I’m sure once I’m a little more tan all of the soft blush colors will look better against my skin so for now I’ll liven things up with some bright accessories. I picked up a few cute things at the LA TJ Maxx locations. This blazer has a beautiful subtle print to it but the camera didn’t pick it up unfortunately. This instagram shows it off a little better:

I thought I was going to be the first person to comment on the Helmut Lang jacket. Helmut Lang?! You always find the best labels on TJ Maxx! Among the major designers, I’ve only come across Prada ($60 black suede strappy heels!) and McQueen. Fingers crossed for the next time, always.
