Trench, blouse, Pants, Shoes: Kenneth Cole, Bracelet: Brian Burkhardt for Kenneth Cole, Earrings: Meghna (similar)

Wanted to post some detail shots of what I wore to the Kenneth Cole event on Thursday.  Thanks so much to everyone who came out to support!  I went into the store a few days prior to the event to pick out an outfit and I really wanted to showcase the versatility of the Spring collection.  Instead of picking one statement piece, I picked a few separates that really worked well together but in a more unexpected way.  Plus, I can break down this look and wear each item separately, which is how I usually know that what I’m buying really is a great investment (of course, here, it’s affordable investing which makes it all the better!).

100 percent of the net profits of Brian’s collection for Kenneth Cole goes to KC’s charity, AWEARNESS.  Talk about a win all around!   Plus, who doesn’t love unicorns and the bracelet I have on is only $48!  There was even an instagram styling contest (congrats TropRouge!) so I was blissfully tapping away on my iPhone and assisting in styling some cute outfits.   Thanks to the team at Kenneth Cole for putting on a successful event!

** I’m hosting an Oscars Red Carpet chat along with EatSleepWear and BrooklynBlonde tonight from 5-8!  Head to my Facebook page here to watch E! along with us and chat about which looks we love and loathe!

LOVE the yellow pants! Have you seen Garance Dore lately? She spotted a great yellow trench! Also in love with your own trench! Looks amazing on you. Now I have to get myself one, too!

Seemed like such a fun night. Wish I could have been there. Love your outfit and can’t wait until you get your own fashion show on T.V. If you have time stop by Antropologie and check out their pleated color block maxi skirt. It reminds me of you and I would love to see how you would wear it.

The event was great! And it was so nice to get to meet you in person. I bought two pairs of great pants for spring and can’t wait to break them out. Looking forward to the next event!

I’ve been following your blog for about 2 weeks now and this outfit has got to be one of my favourites- the lemon yellow pants, with the matching yellow detail on the earrings and that charming bracelet is just so chic. Great job! :)

Kay February 27, 2012 at 2:11 pm

You look amazing! That trench is to die for :)

Huong February 27, 2012 at 2:16 pm

I absolutely love this look! Clean lines with a soft neutral texture and a pop of color! I LOVE adding pops of color to a neutrals! I’m so grabbing this outfit soon! Is the top short, long, and sleeveless?

This is one of your best outfits this year! I love that you are back in NYC and seeing the accessories you choose. Everything just clicks here. The earrings and bracelet are just right, not too much, original, and interesting. The yellow, the heels, the top, but most of all, your wavy hair. It looks AHMAZING. You should wear it like this more often!

Kendall February 28, 2012 at 8:05 pm
