Really excited that my new desk came last week! I feel like I finally have different areas to separate work/living/sleeping. I’m so excited to continue the decorating process and on the least amount of money as possible. My living room/office space is an odd layout so it will be hard to fit a full size anything so I’m confined to loveseats and settees, which are darling anyway. Here are a few things that I’ve purchased recently, have caught my eye to maybe buy, or have just inspired me in general.
Pillow: Allem Studio, Greek key ottoman from Joss & Main, Desk: World Market, Loveseat: Target, Wallpaper deer head: Etsy [Inspiration pics from The Decorista and Jonathan Adler window via my instagram]
I’m obsessed with pillows from Allem studio which I found on One Kings Lane and recently purchased the blue horse version. The desk was a steal at $199 from World Market and I couldn’t be happier to find a high gloss white desk with character for that price point. The loveseat is from Target and I’m planning to paint the legs white to give it a fresh update (see Jonathan Adler chair above for inspiration).. There were plenty of very chic, expensive couches that I’ve found along the way, but until I have a bigger space to enjoy them, I’d rather not invest right now in something that can barely fit. Either way, it’s fun to decorate on a budget because you have to really get creative, like with styling outfits! Overall I want it to feel airy, romantic, glam, cozy, and crisp all at the same time. Game on.

That desk is stunning! Simple and sleek and so super affordable! I’ve been meaning to give that one from ZGallerie a shot but it’s double the price and looks so strikingly similar! Great find! Can’t wait to see how you style it up!

That already looks great! I love that you try to furnish your appartment with things on an affordable price level – and I’d love to see (a bit of) the end result once you’ve finished and are happy with your room(s)!

I really like your bright top combined with the check pants. I’m also obsessed with your desk–white desks always feel more roomy despite how small in size they actually are.
The Greek Ottoman is a must, can’t wait to see how it turns out!

Looks like fun stuff. I have had my eye on that desk also. Cant wait to see the end results. I am a bit obsessed with wanting to living in NYC in a small apt for a year or two. It’s on my bucket list…not getting any younger, better get a plan together.
Seriously, that dress is beautiful. I love World Market! They have great prices on amazing, unique pieces! PS – you’re a celebrity among my family. I’m a semi new blogger and my parents text and call me when your TJ Maxx commercial comes on. They get so excited because they think the same will happen to me haha. You commercials and style are beautiful!! Thanks for inspiring
I also love your new desk and you look stunning, beautiful pink top.

This is so funny. When I saw your inspiration photo the other week I thought of this desk I had seen at World Market which would be perfect for you. And now that’s the desk you have! Enjoy.
I love that desk! I have been eyeing it, but don’t have a world market near me and was hesitant to buy it online without seeing a real life photo. I may pull the trigger now!
Just purchased the World Market desk thanks to your tip (and great eye!), so thank you many times over. Chose the light blue version so it’ll pop more in our space – now just need the perfect tufted bench to slide under it when not in use : )
Where did you get the great pink blouse that you’re wearing in this photo?
Such fun things! I’m also surprised by the desk’s price point! I like the idea of painting the legs of the chair; think I may have to give that a go to a vintage piece I just inherited.
