Fashion Mission: Vintage Tip Time
June 2, 2012
Happy weekend! This week’s Fashion Mission is a fun discussion about vintage shopping filmed right in front of my favorite places in the city! Here are our stories about some of our finds and best tips. I’m a big fan of vintage costume jewelry and home decor recently, but Karen has had some great luck finding some real gems in the clothing department (totally her style). The comments have been pretty clear that everyone loves the missions which has been great and if you have any ideas on future missions, or stores you want to see, feel free to leave a comment! <3

Love the episodes!
I’d love to see episodes on swimwear and outfits for going to a wedding!
Take me shopping with you ladies!! I’m craving a good vintage trip now! Luckily I’m going to do a little thrifting today…maybe I’ll find something shiny!
I would love to see an episode on summer outfits that you can wear to work that inclide pants, and outfits for going out on a date.
I loved it!! I’m posting from Los Angeles, take a look on the windows of Rodeo Drive and our pictures in Palmdale!!

I lovee vintage shopping! Especially in NYC. Everything from vintage Chanel bags to cute lace tops and Tory Burch flats. In awe that you found that Chanel blazer!! I found a Chanel vintage top one time and got the lady down till $50. Love it.

Hey Lindsey, if you ever want to take your readers to Mood Fabrics here in NYC, we’d love to have you! Like you mention in this post, there are lots of ways to take RTW to another level or vibe by adding trim, contrast fabrics, or unique buttons, hence a trip to Mood. Think about it… —Meg
Great video! I am the girl that walks into a vintage store and gets overwhelmed for sure, so thanks for addressing that.
A question I would love answered is how you ladies can wear heels in NYC? I lived there for few years and always wore flats. Now I live in Germany where I walk all the still, but mostly on up or down hill cobble stone. I always feel like a fool walk so slow that I wear flats most of the time.
